Friday Activities Part One

Friday I was super busy from the time the dismissal bell rang until I hit my pillow that night. After school on Friday we had our first faculty/staff Pollyanna. Lisa, the secretary, ran it and she did a great job! We all brought in a $10 gender friendly gift and a dessert or appetizer. Each gift got a number that corresponded with a number on an ornament on the tree. We each picked an ornament and that is how we got our gift. After everyone got their gift there was an extra gift, a lottery ticket tree. Everyone had to remember their numbers. All the numbers were put into a hat and then one was chosen.

It was nice to be sitting around talking and eating with my co-workers. I get so much more close with them when we do stuff like that. I love it!

Here are all of our Christmas gifts. Lisa also made naughty and nice lists. Some of the teachers wrote their names on the lists. Hee Hee. See the big bag with the white tissue paper? That was what I won! It was a Christmas candy dish in the shape of snowmen heads, a jar in the shape of Mr. Peanut with peanuts in it, and a can of chocolate straws. I loved the dish!

Here are some of the treats we had. Can you see my gingerbread men? They were a big hit! At least everyone was impressed that I made them!

Here are Erin and another teacher's daughter. Isn't she cute? The little one isn't bad either! :) There were poppers on the tables with paper crowns in them. I took the picture because these two happen to get matching crowns!
