Bittersweet

Today I am heading over to St. Gen's to drop off some of my classroom things. My mom and Julie are coming with me and then we are going to lunch at McNallys.

I am excited for starting this new job but I am also still sore from the wounds I received the last few weeks I was at Norwood. I know I am not the first one this has happened to and I know that relatively speaking I am extreamly lucky that this is the first time this has happened to me but I came to feel like that school was family. I just feel like I was screwed over by a family member. I have been screwed over by an actual family member before and this feels just the same! I know this all may sound crazy but it's just how I feel. I will get over it eventually and I know I am going to a great school with a great faculty but I am still sore. Let me be sore for a bit!

Last class

So yesterday was my last day of classes at NFA. I was surprised at how well I handled it! My fifth graders wanted to sign my board before they left. Here is what they left for me.

Camp COLEY

This past weekend the leaders and CITs from my camp had a nice weekend at Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation where we spend a week in August. The CITs were there for their training weekend and the leaders were there to hang out, bond, and bounce ideas off of each other.
